Activities
At Welsh Gambling Education Hub Adferiad, we have created a wide variety of activities to be carried out as part of our gambling awareness incentive. The activities are split into three sections: young people, parents and carers, and professionals.
Young People
The educational and interactive activities that we have created include toolkits, lesson plans, peer-based performances, with scenarios to generate debate and promote discussion. The activities are designed to help young people understand the risks of gambling, the signs of gambling addiction, and how to set limits on gambling.
Examples of activities that we offer for young people:

They include information and advice about the risks of gambling, the signs of gambling addiction, and how to provide support to young people. All of the activities have been created in collaboration with educators, professionals working in the field of addiction, and people with lived experience of gambling addiction.
The activities are designed to be a pathway to lead into, create, and develop communication. They are a valuable resource for anyone who is working with young people, parents, or professionals to raise awareness of the dangers of gambling and to prevent addiction.
